Returns & Refunds Policy


PURA is a health & beauty salon as well as an on-line store. PURA is an authorised Dermalogica stockist. 

Expert skin care advice is given to all our clients.


Payments are made on-line and in advance by the clients. An order confirmation is emailed to each on-line client.

All payment details must be entered correctly to avoid delays. In the eventuality of a billing address being incorrectly entered on the order, a written proof of payment might be required before an order is dispatched.

All security questions, within the PURA on-line security system 3D Secure, must be entered correctly and in-full, in order to avoid the need for extra verification and delays.


ALL PURA deliveries are 1st class recorded via Royal Mail.

All PURA deliveries are sent either by 1st class or 1st class Recorded Delivery (options available) via Royal Mail. PURA aims to dispatch orders within 48 hours, but a delivery may take 2 to 6 workings days if a product(s) is not in stock. If this occurs, where necessary, orders may be sent in 2 or more parts.


PURA offers two UK delivery options via Royal Mail: 1st Class free of charge or 1st Class Recorded Delivery at £2.70. Options are available and can be selected in the 'Shopping Basket'.


PURA delivers in the following EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. 

Each EU order incurs a postal fee of the value of £7.99, plus 50p per extra product, payable on-line when selecting a country other than the UK while placing an order.


As soon as an order is dispatched, a notification email is sent to the client. If an order is not dispatched after 8 working days, the client is notified via email.

If delays occur due to late delivery from a supplier, due to busy periods or due to unforeseen circumstances more time might need to be allowed for delivery. Pura Ltd cannot be held responsible for any delays, such as postal strikes, which are wholly outside our control.

Delays or loss within the Royal Mail postal system:

In the eventuality of an order being misplaced within the UK Royal Mail system, at least 14 working days must be allowed before we can start investigating , in case a package is returned to PURA.

In the eventuality of an order being lost within an international EU postal system, at least 21 working days must be allowed before PURA can start investigating , in case a package is returned to PURA from abroad.

For EU orders, PURA cannot be held responsible if a Customs Office from any EU country is holding a package.

Clients from EU have the responsibility to contact their Customs Office to chase up the progress of their delivery within their country.

Should an order be returned to PURA because a client is not present to receive it or collect it, or has provided incorrect delivery details, a postage fee will apply to re-send it in the UK as well as an EU country.


You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch, by emailing PURA and we will re-credit your card or return your un-cashed cheque, within 30 days of your order.

Should the items be already dispatched (we normally dispatch within 24-48hrs of your order), please email sales@Pura-nb.com of your dissatisfaction as soon as possible and at most within 7 days of your order. Please return the item within 14 days for a full refund of the cost of the item. Any refund will be made within 30 days of our receipt of the returned goods and will be refunded to the card in question, or posted to you in the form of a cheque, should the order have been paid for by cheque.

If an order was shipped using a free or reduced cost delivery offer, the net cost to us of the delivery will be deducted from the refunded amount.


If an order is not collected and returned to PURA, it will be held until claimed for a maximum period of 3 months. Unclaimed deliveries are non-refundable.


Due to the nature of the goods, all items MUST be returned unused, in the condition to which they were received and in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for postage for any returned items. We strongly recommend that the customer obtain proof of postage for any returned item. 

In the eventuality of a defective product:

Pura Wanstead Ltd accepts no responsibility for any injury arising from the use of any supplied products, especially arising from faulty or defective goods, or for any improper or inappropriate use of any product, or from allergies or adverse reactions. Any defective product should in the first instance be reported to us and in return we will, on your behalf pursue a replacement from the manufacturer. If we feel it appropriate, Pura Wanstead Ltd will replace the item, at our discretion, whilst a replacement is being obtained from the manufacturer.

VAT Policy

VAT (Value Added Tax) is the government tax added to goods and services in the EU (European Union) including UK (United Kingdom). VAT is normally included in the price consumers see. VAT is applicable on goods or services purchased from a VAT registered company. Each EU country has its own rates. In the UK the standard rate, as of 3rd January 2011, is 20%. If visiting from outside of the UK, you may be entitled to a VAT refund on goods bought from shops offering Tax Free Shopping (Retail Export Scheme) is for those returning back home with their goods. VAT refunds DO NOT apply to services. PURA does not offer Tax Free Shopping nor is it part of the Retail Export Scheme.

Typographical or omission errors may occur in prices, descriptive copy or photography. Pura Wanstead Ltd reserves the right to correct these errors or withdraw the offer.

Specifications, colours, legal restrictions, prices and availability are subject to change at any time without notice. It may be necessary to substitute an item with a product of equal or better value that varies from our catalogue description.

All goods sold are new and unused.
